The Equal Opportunities Compliance Unit

CRPD established the Equal Opportunities Compliance Unit within its Secretariat, charged with promoting Equality of Opportunity and implementing the provisions of the Equal Opportunities Act (persons with disability) which came into effect on the 1st October 2000, and thus investigates acts of discrimination on the basis of disability.

In May 2019, the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability (CRPD)  submitted its feedback for the Inclusion Education Policy; this is in addition to the feedback requested from CRPD and provided in May 2018.
